White House Response to the Disclosure Petition

Washington, DC – Sixty-four years after flying disks became a worldwide phenomenon, a formal position on this phenomenon has been issued in print by the executive branch of the United States government for the first time.   On Friday, November 4 the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) responded to two petitions submitted to the We the People section of the White House website.  One of these, the Disclosure Petition, was submitted by Paradigm Research Group.   The White House response gave the administration’s assessment of the assertion by a growing number of researchers and activists that flying disks and other related phenomena confirm an extraterrestrial, non-human intelligence engaging the human race.  See:  https://wwws.whitehouse.gov/petitions#!/response/searching-et-no-evidence-yet    and   www.disclosurepetition.info

OSTP researcher Phil Larson wrote, “The fact is we have no credible evidence of extraterrestrial presence here on Earth.”  Unfortunately for the OSTP and the Obama administration, that assertion is false.  Furthermore, given that approximately 50% of the American people are now convinced of an extraterrestrial presence and more than 80% believe the government is not telling the truth about the phenomenon, it is an embarrassment.

There are only four possible explanations for this statement from the OSTP:

1)  It is a political lie.  Whatever the executive branch personnel may know about extraterrestrial evidence, the administration cannot acknowledge any such awareness in order to protect the President’s political prospects in the next election.

2)  It is a national security lie.   The administration cannot acknowledge any such awareness of the evidence as a matter of national security.  Which is to say the people cannot handle such truths.

3)  It demonstrates the present executive branch of the United States government, including a substantial collection of military, science and intelligence advisors, is completely unaware of the massive evidence for an extraterrestrial presence that has been accumulated over six decades by an extraordinary citizen science/truth movement.   Which is to say the administration is both ignorant and incompetent.

4)  The statement is correct and the aforementioned accumulation of evidence is just a sixty year, worldwide misunderstanding.

There are no other possible explanations, and in due course administration officials will have to defend their formal statement on one of these bases.

Paradigm Research Group invites the political media to give the evidentiary matrix behind the extraterrestrial reality a modest examination and consider challenging the Obama administration’s position on what is easily the most important issue in the world today.   Such an examination might include:

1)  Reviewing quotes by persons of high rank and station over many decades.  See: www.paradigmresearchgroup.org/QuotesPage.html

2)  Reviewing a database of thousands of sightings by pilots in flight.   This database is managed by NARCAP.  See: www.narcap.org

3)  Reviewing the following books:  UFOs and the National Security State – Vols. 1 and 2 (Dolan), UFOs and Nukes (Hastings), Witness to Roswell (Carey/Schmitt), UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record (Kean), Missing Times: News Media Complicity in the UFO Cover-up (Hansen), Above Top Secret (Good), Abduction: Human Encounters with Aliens (Mack), Top Secret/Majic (Friedman).

4)  Reviewing the following documentaries:  Out of the Blue (Fox/Coleman)     UFOs: 50 Years of Denial (Fox)    The Day Before Disclosure (Toftenes)

5)  Reviewing the public statements of two astronaut legends:  Col. Gordon Cooper and Dr. Edgar Mitchell. See:  http://tinyurl.com/742xm4p and    http://tinyurl.com/62az8q

6)  Reviewing the government witness testimonies amassed by the Disclosure Project.   See:  www.disclosureproject.org/access/

The above represent but a small fraction of the evidence the White House now formally claims is either not credible or does not exist, and there is one more area of enquiry the political media might engage – one with an ironic aspect.

‘We The People’ Petition Seeks Truth Of Alien Visits From Obama Administration

UFO hunters are now turning to an Obama administration initiative in the hopes of revealing what the government really knows about extraterrestrials.

Under the White House’s “We the People” program, citizens can appeal to officials “to take action on a range of important issues facing our country.”

“If a petition gets enough support,” the government website promises, “White House staff will review it, ensure it’s sent to the appropriate policy experts and issue an official response.”

Gentlemen, start your intergalactic engines . . .

By “enough support,” the administration means a petition has to receive just 5,000 signatures within 30 days to warrant an official White House response. That’s a low enough threshold to get a lot of conspiracy theorists licking their suspicious chops.

As soon as the White House announced its We the People program, UFO/ET proponent Stephen Bassett wasted no time penning the first alien disclosure petition which reads:

We, the undersigned, strongly urge the president of the United States to formally acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race and immediately release into the public domain all files from all agencies and military services relevant to this phenomenon.

Bassett is executive director of Paradigm Research Group which advocates for the truth about UFOs.

“In 1996, when I launched the Paradigm Research Group, I registered as a lobbyist on behalf of a number of organizations on this particular subject — the idea of total disclosure of an ET presence on Earth by the world governments,” Bassett told The Huffington Post.

“Everything PRG does, including World Disclosure Day — all of it contributes to this process.”

And now the die is cast, because within just four days of Bassett’s petition being registered, it amassed more than the necessary 5,000 signatures to warrant an official White House response.

As Alejandro Rojas pointed out in his recent HuffPost blog, there are examples of prior American presidents — such as Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter — who tried to obtain information about UFOs. Even John F. Kennedy asked his staff to provide him with UFO materials.

So now, both alien believers and skeptics are playing a mutual waiting game as they anticipate someone at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington to tell us who’s right.

“The response from the White House could be utterly trivial,” said Bassett. “They could just blow it off by saying something like, ‘Our policy is that we don’t investigate this phenomenon anymore’ — which is a lie — ‘and whatever this phenomenon is, it doesn’t pose a threat’ — which they don’t know for sure.”

And a White House spokesman told HuffPost, “It’s not going to be practical for us to start commenting on each individual petition ahead of their getting officlal responses.”

But when that official response about extraterrestrials on Earth comes — as it must — will you believe it?

Petition requests Obama to acknowledge extraterrestrial presence

Stephen Bassett of the Paradigm Research Group has posted a petition on the White House’s new petitioning website, calling for the president to “formally acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.” According to their website, the White House will review the petition for an official response if 5000 signatures are collected in 30 days. Created on September 22, 2011, Bassett’s petition has already collected over 2000 signatures, well on its way to meeting the goal. One can only wonder what the White House response may be, if they choose to respond at all.

The White House’s new petition website is part of “We the People,” an effort to create more access for the public to voice their concerns. The site says, “We the People provides a new way to petition the Obama Administration to take action on a range of important issues facing our country.”

Bassett’s petition reads:

We, the undersigned, strongly urge the President of the United States to formally acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race and immediately release into the public domain all files from all agencies and military services relevant to this phenomenon.

However, looking back on efforts by the White House to gain access to this sort of information, past presidents have been unsuccessful in getting answers. According to Daniel Sheehan, in 1997 while serving as the General Counsel to the United States Jesuit National Headquarters in Washington, DC, he was approached by the then Director of the Library of Congress’ Science and Technology Division, Marcia Smith, to help with a UFO research project. He says that during the course of his participation with Smith, she had told him that President-elect, Jimmy Carter, had requested that George Bush, Sr., who was Director of the CIA at the time, brief him on the UFO situation. Bush refused, telling Carter that he did not have the need to know.

Bill Clinton’s efforts to look into the UFO subject are well documented. The best archive of this material is at Grant Cameron’s PresidentialUFO.com website. One of the more interesting stories was printed in a book by Clinton’s friend William Hubbell. Hubbell was a friend of the Clintons from Arkansas, and was indicted for fraud in the Whitewater scandals. Before his indictment he was assigned to the Attorney General’s office as the Associate Attorney General. Hubbell wrote in his book Friends in High Places:

Clinton had said, ‘If I put you over at Justice, I want you to find the answers to two questions for me,’ Hubbell recounts. ‘One, who killed JFK. And two, are there UFOs?’ Clinton was dead serious. I had looked into both, but wasn’t satisfied with the answers I was getting.

In an interview with Cameron, he told me he felt he had amassed enough evidence to show that the Clintons were interested in the subject of UFOs, but that not even the President has the power to demand that sort of information. In an interview in Hong Kong, Clinton was asked about his UFO interests. Clinton said that he looked into Area 51 and the Roswell UFO crash, but didn’t find anything. However, he added:

I did attempt to find out if there were any secret government documents that revealed things and if there were, they were concealed from me too. I wouldn’t be the first president that underlings have lied to or that career bureaucrats have waited out.  But there may be some career person somewhere hiding these dark secrets, even from elected Presidents. But if so, they successfully eluded me, and I am almost embarrassed to tell you that I did try to find out.

UFO Closes China Airport Again August 17, 2011 – Jaime Maussan

On August 17, 2011 Chongjin Airport in Shanghai, China was shut down for over an hour due to the prescense of a large unknown disk shaped object hovering above it’s runways. Similar UFOs were the cause of two other airports in China being shut down in 2010. Jaime Maussan and Marilu Carrillo cover the story.

A new Wikileaks UFO cable has been released! The following statement it´s very STRONG!

The cable includes a message sent from the Embassy Dushanbe to RUEHC/SecState Washington DC 1144 on Friday, 15 Jan 2010 11:18 UTC and it makes reference to EXTRATERRESTRIAL LIFE on other planets.

Without doubt this is one of the most important Wikileaks cables released ever, at least for UFO investigators.

Here is the cable:

E.O. 12958: DECL:  1/15/2020

¶2. (SBU) On January 13 Ambassador called on Dushanbe Mayor and

Chairman of the upper house of Parliament Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloev

at his parliamentary office.  The Mayor began the meeting with a

lengthy discourse on Afghanistan, thanking the United States for

its contributions and sacrifices there, and saying that U.S.

activities there were very important “as we enter the third

millennium and the 21st century.”  Ubaidulloev thought the main

task there was to build a sense of national identity among

ethnically disparate groups, and said the United States was an

example for this.  He noted that “war is very dangerous”, and

said “we know there is life on other planets, but we must make

peace here first.”
